Marina Bay
The postcard picture of Singapore. Marina Bay is the best place to take some snaps particularly with the impressive Marina Bay Sands Hotel at the centre. You can go up the hotel too to take in the views whilst sipping on a cocktail, bit pricey though! Next to it is the Art Science Museum shaped like a half-formed egg as well as the Singapore Flyer, Singapore's answer to the London Eye.

Merlion
In the same vicinity is the iconic Merlion. The city's symbol made up of half lion half fish sprays water into the river with the banking district in the background. It is just as important to get a picture under the statue with your mouth open as it is to get one pushing the Leaning Tower of Piza!
Sri Mariamman Temple
This is a beautiful Hindu temple on the edge of Chinatown. Colourful and intricate the locals will welcome you in with open arms and encourage to join in the festivities.

Buddah Tooth Relic Temple
This temple and museum complex is impressive just to look at on the outside but do take the time to look around inside too, it would be silly to not see the relic itself.
Fort Canning Park
A lovely park in the centre of town with white colonial buildings. A bit of green amongst the skyscrapers.
